Welles Park Cowboys UYF Travel Football 

Player Fee:  $350.00 per player

Travel Football begins July 25, 2011 with practices 5 days/week until games begin (at the end of August), then practice is 3 days/week.

Travel Football plays a 9 game season + playoffs

Who We Are

The Football Program at Welles Park is a parent-managed, parent-financed, ALL-VOLUNTEER enterprise that relies on the generosity of the participating families and the dedication of volunteer Board Members, officers, administrators, Coaches and Assistants as the key to its very existence. Many of us volunteer hundreds and hundreds of hours of our time, and contribute thousands of dollars to the Football Program each year in order to make sure that your children have a venue to learn to play tackle Football in a "fun, friendly and safe atmosphere". For all of the support that we get from the Park District, we get minimal funding, at best, from them. 

The modest fees that we charge do not come close to covering the costs of operating what has become one of the largest Youth Football programs in the entire Chicago metro area. The WPFPA is very proud of our accomplishments in building one of the most highly-regarded ( and socio-economically and ethnically diverse ) youth football programs in the entire Country.
